## Long description

The Rode NT2000 Studio Microphone Wired XLR 20 - 20000 Hz Silver is a professional large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone engineered for high-quality audio recording. Built with a durable silver finish and a reliable wired XLR connection, this studio microphone offers precise sound capture across a frequency range of 20 to 20000 Hz with a sensitivity of -36 dB. It features convenient rotary controls for adjusting polar patterns, pads, and high-pass filters, making it a versatile tool for demanding audio environments.
Advantages
This studio microphone stands out through its exceptional versatility and professional-grade acoustic performance. The continuously variable polar pattern allows seamless adjustment between omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-8 patterns. Audiophile-quality surface-mount electronics combined with a dual 1-inch capsule ensure extremely low self-noise and high sound pressure level capability, capturing clear and accurate audio even from demanding sources.
Suitable for
Vocal recording in professional and home studios
Acoustic and electric instrument recording
Broadcasting and voice-over work
Detailed podcast and content creation setups
When it may not be suitable
This studio microphone requires professional audio interfaces with XLR connectivity and phantom power, making it less practical for mobile setups using direct USB connections. Due to its high sensitivity and studio-grade components, it is not optimized for casual on-the-go voice communication or outdoor recordings without proper acoustic protection.
