The prepared S/FTP (PiMF) construction uses four pairs of stranded copper conductors with overall braid shielding and individual pair aluminium-clad polyester foil, providing protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. Connector contacts are gold plated and wired 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA-568 standard.
