It uses four pairs of stranded copper wire with full braid shielding and individually foil-shielded pairs (S/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with screened RJ-45 connectors and the cable follows the EIA/TIA 568 contact mapping for straightforward installation.
