## Long description

The Rollei Telescope 70/500 Refractor Telescope 70 mm Aperture 500 mm Focal Length is a compact and reliable optical instrument designed for beginner astronomers and hobbyists. Offering a 70 mm aperture and a 500 mm focal length, this refractor telescope provides clear and crisp views of celestial bodies, the lunar surface, and distant terrestrial landscapes. Combining ease of use with stable performance, it serves as an excellent entry point into the world of stargazing and outdoor observation.
Advantages
This telescope delivers dependable optical performance, making it simple to observe astronomical objects and nature scenery with good clarity. Its lightweight and compact construction ensures high portability, allowing users to transport the device effortlessly for field trips, camping, or backyard stargazing sessions. Built with user-friendliness in mind, it provides a straightforward setup process that is ideal for educational purposes, young learners, and adults taking their first steps in astronomy.
Suitable for
Observing the moon and major lunar craters
Viewing bright celestial bodies and planets
Terrestrial landscape observation and nature viewing
Educational activities and introductory stargazing for beginners
When it may not be suitable
This device is not designed for advanced deep-sky astrophotography or observing faint, distant nebulae and galaxies due to its limited aperture size. Experienced astronomers seeking high-magnification professional equipment for deep-space research may find its capabilities insufficient.
Key specifications
Refractor telescope optical design
70 mm aperture
500 mm focal length
How to use
Mount the telescope securely onto a compatible tripod and ensure the structure is stable before observation. Adjust the focus wheel gradually until the targeted celestial body or terrestrial object appears sharp in the field of view. Start with a lower magnification eyepiece to locate objects easily before switching to higher magnification options for closer inspection.
What to consider before purchase
Verify the intended observation goals to ensure a 70 mm aperture meets your astronomical expectations
Consider portability requirements and storage space for travel or home use
Check compatibility with additional standard eyepieces or accessories if future upgrades are planned
Usage recommendations: For optimal viewing results, use the telescope in locations with minimal light pollution, away from city lights. Allow the instrument to adjust to the ambient outdoor temperature for a short period before observation to prevent internal lens fogging.
