DG-1 ME is a microprocessor-based methane (natural gas) detector designed for mounting on a wall near sources where methane leakage is likely, such as heating equipment, cookers, ovens, gas connections and gas meters. Because methane is lighter than air, install the device high on the wall just below the ceiling in the monitored room. The detector operates from a 12 V DC supply and draws approximately 45 mA.
