## Long description

SCHNEIDERE Asfora EPH5500171 anthracite is a frameless cable gland designed for routing electrical cables through floors or walls with a discreet, flush appearance. The unit creates a neat opening for cable entry, protects insulation and conductors at the penetration point, and is compatible with Asfora fittings to ensure consistent styling in residential and commercial interiors.
Advantages
The anthracite finish provides a low-contrast, modern look that blends with darker floors and wall panels while the frameless design keeps the visible profile minimal. Built for simple installation, the cable gland reduces stress on cable jackets at the entry point and helps maintain a clean, organised installation. The product is intended to integrate with Asfora system components for uniform appearance and reliable mechanical fit.
Suitable for
Routing power and low-voltage cables through floors in apartments, offices and public buildings
Concealed cable entry through plasterboard, concrete or wooden walls
Integrating with Asfora outlet and conduit systems to achieve a flush finish
Key specifications
Finish: anthracite
Type: frameless cable gland for floor or wall penetration
Compatibility: designed to integrate with Asfora fittings and outlets
Application: indoor electrical installations for power and low-voltage cabling
Mounting: intended for flush mounting in floors and walls to provide a low-profile cable exit
How to use
Prepare the mounting opening in the floor or wall to match the cable gland dimensions and follow local electrical installation standards. Pass the cable through the gland so that the sheath is supported at the penetration point, then secure the gland into the opening to achieve a flush fit. Ensure mechanical fixation is stable and that cable routing prevents sharp bends or strain at the gland. When used with other Asfora components, align the gland with the surrounding trim to maintain a consistent finish.
Usage recommendations
Verify the cable diameters and types before installation to ensure correct fit and strain relief. For safety and code compliance, installations should be performed by a qualified electrician and inspected according to local regulations. Use the gland only for indoor applications unless documentation from the manufacturer specifies otherwise.
