## Long description

The Secomp STANDARD DisplayPort Cable DP to UHDTV Male to Male Black 2 m is a reliable interconnect solution designed for desktop setups and multimedia systems. Featuring male DisplayPort connectors on both ends, this 2-meter black cable provides a stable and direct link between DisplayPort-equipped sources and modern displays. Built to support high-resolution video and audio transfer, it ensures consistent signal transmission for daily computing, office tasks, and home entertainment configurations.
Advantages
This standard DisplayPort cable delivers dependable performance for everyday audio and visual connectivity requirements. Its durable construction helps maintain signal integrity across the full 2-meter length, reducing the risk of interference or connection drops during operation. The male-to-male connectors fit securely into compatible ports, offering a straightforward plug-and-play installation without the need for additional adapters or complex configurations. The neutral black exterior blends seamlessly with most office environments, computer desks, and entertainment centers.
Suitable for
Connecting a desktop computer or workstation to a high-resolution monitor
Linking a laptop with a DisplayPort output to an external display or projector
Setting up multimedia systems and home entertainment centers
Replacing missing or damaged video cables in existing IT infrastructure
When it may not be suitable
This cable is not compatible with devices that lack a standard DisplayPort interface, such as equipment featuring only HDMI, DVI, or VGA ports, unless appropriate external active adapters are used. Additionally, the 2-meter length may be insufficient for complex setups requiring long-distance cable runs between distant rooms or large conference halls.
Key specifications
Cable type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort (DP to UHDTV)
Connector type: Male to Male
Length: 2 meters
Color: Black
Application: Video and audio signal transmission
How to use
Ensure that both your source device and display are powered off before connecting the cable. Take the male DisplayPort connector and insert it firmly into the DisplayPort output port on your computer, laptop, or other source device. Take the opposite male connector and plug it securely into the corresponding input port on your monitor or display. Once both ends are properly connected, power on your devices. The operating system should automatically detect the secondary display and configure the appropriate resolution.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that both your source device and display feature standard DisplayPort connections
Measure the required distance between your devices to ensure the 2-meter length is adequate
Confirm whether your setup requires standard video transmission or if specific active adapters are necessary for non-DisplayPort ports
For optimal performance and to prevent physical strain on the ports, avoid tightly bending the cable or placing heavy objects on top of it during installation and daily use.
