## Long description

The Secomp DisplayPort Cable DP Male to DP Male Black 2 m is designed for reliable video and audio signal transmission between computers, monitors, and displays. Featuring a durable black design and an optimal length of 2 meters, this cable is ideal for both home and office setups that require stable high-definition digital connectivity. It ensures seamless transmission of high-resolution video and multi-channel audio formats without signal degradation, providing a dependable link for daily computing, professional work, and multimedia entertainment.
Advantages
This DisplayPort cable delivers exceptional signal integrity and stable performance for high-definition displays. Its robust construction ensures daily durability and resistance to wear during routine plugging and unplugging. The generous two-meter length offers flexible positioning options between your desktop computer, laptop, and monitor, preventing cable tension and clutter on your desk. The secure male-to-male connectors lock firmly into place, preventing accidental disconnections during critical tasks or intense gaming sessions.
Suitable for
Connecting desktop computers or laptops to external monitors and displays
Setting up home office workstations for productivity and multimedia use
Displaying high-definition video presentations in professional office environments
Pairing with standard DisplayPort-equipped graphics cards and screens
When it may not be suitable
This cable may not be suitable for devices that do not feature standard DisplayPort interfaces, such as displays requiring HDMI, DVI, or VGA connections without the use of active adapters. Additionally, the two-meter length might be insufficient for very large room layouts or complex multi-display routing that requires extended cable runs.
Key specifications
Cable type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
Connector gender: Male to Male
Cable length: 2 meters
Color: Black
Signal type: Digital video and audio
How to use
Ensure that both your computer and your monitor are powered off before connecting the cable. Take one end of the Secomp DisplayPort cable and insert it firmly into the DisplayPort output port on your computer or graphics card, making sure the latches or connectors align properly. Take the opposite end of the cable and plug it securely into the corresponding DisplayPort input port on your monitor or display. Power on your devices and adjust your operating system display settings to recognize the secondary screen or configure your desired resolution and refresh rate.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that both your source device and display feature standard DisplayPort connections
Measure the distance between your computer and monitor to ensure the two-meter length is adequate
Check your system's resolution and refresh rate requirements to ensure compatibility with standard DisplayPort transmission
Usage recommendations: Handle the connectors with care by holding the plug housing rather than pulling directly on the cable wire to extend its operational lifespan. Avoid tight bends, sharp corners, or heavy objects resting on the cable to maintain optimal signal transmission quality over time.
