## Long description

Secomp 21.05.0525 is a 2 m Cat6a S/FTP (S‑STP) patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is designed for high-speed Ethernet environments and offers improved protection against crosstalk and electromagnetic interference to support reliable data transmission for LANs, server racks, switches and workstations requiring Gigabit and 10 Gigabit performance.
Advantages
The S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding provides individual pair foil plus overall braid, reducing near-end crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. With standard RJ-45 straight male connectors on both ends and a 2 m length, the cable is plug-and-play and ready for immediate installation in patch panels and network equipment. The Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with Cat5e and Cat6 cables.
Suitable for
 LAN backbone and horizontal cabling
 Server rack and switch connections
 Workstation or desktop network links
10 Gigabit Ethernet where Cat6a is required
Key specifications
 Length: 2 m
Connectors: RJ-45 straight male – RJ-45 straight male
 Category: Cat6a
Shielding: S/FTP (S‑STP) — overall braid + foil per pair
 Colour: Black
 MPN: 21.05.0525
 EAN: 7611990758692
How to use
Connect one RJ-45 plug to a network device such as a switch, router or NIC and the other plug to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a reliable electrical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and routing near strong electrical noise sources.
Usage recommendations
For 10 Gigabit links maintain appropriate channel specifications and use within recommended installation practices. Use the 2 m length for short patch runs inside racks or between nearby equipment to minimise excess cable and signal reflections.
