## Long description

Secomp Cat6a networking cable, 2 m length, designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. The cable meets Cat6a specifications and features S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are fitted with RJ‑45 male connectors and the cable is finished in black, providing a reliable physical link for 10 Gbps-capable LAN connections between routers, switches, PCs and other network equipment.
Advantages
The S/FTP (S‑STP) construction offers improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, supporting stable data transmission at higher frequencies required by Cat6a. RJ‑45 male connectors on both ends ensure straightforward plug-and-play installation without additional adapters. The 2 m length is suitable for typical desktop and rack cabling where a short, direct connection is needed.
Suitable for
Connecting PCs to switches or routers
Patch cabling in small racks and wall outlets
Short 10 Gbps-capable links in offices and server rooms
Key specifications
Length: 2 m
Connectors: RJ-45 male – RJ-45 male
Category: Cat6a
Shielding: S/FTP (S‑STP)
Colour: Black
How to use
Insert each RJ‑45 connector firmly into the network ports of the devices to be connected (for example, router, switch or PC). Ensure connectors click into place and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. No special configuration is required — the cable functions as a passive link within standard Ethernet networks.
Usage recommendations
For optimum performance, use in environments compliant with Cat6a installation practices: avoid excessive bending radius, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines, and install where connectors remain accessible for maintenance.
