## Long description

The SecurityNET RJ45 Connector Cat. 6A STP is a high-performance shielded plug engineered for demanding network environments. Designed for Category 6A standards, this connector provides robust signal integrity and protection against electromagnetic interference, making it an essential component for high-speed data transmission in professional Ethernet installations.
Advantages
This connector features a convenient toolless design that significantly simplifies the installation process. By eliminating the need for specialized crimping tools, it allows technicians to terminate twisted pair cables quickly and efficiently on-site. The shielded construction ensures superior performance by minimizing crosstalk and external noise, which is critical for maintaining stable connections in high-bandwidth network infrastructures.
Suitable for
Professional Ethernet networking
Data center infrastructure
High-speed local area network (LAN) installations
Upgrading existing network cabling to Cat. 6A standards
When it may not be suitable
This connector is specifically designed for Cat. 6A STP shielded cables and may not provide optimal performance or physical compatibility with unshielded (UTP) or lower-category cabling. It is not intended for use in environments where standard RJ45 crimping methods are preferred or required by specific project documentation.
Key specifications
Category: 6A
Shielding: STP (Shielded Twisted Pair)
Termination type: Toolless
Connector type: RJ45
How to use
To install the connector, strip the outer jacket of the Cat. 6A cable and arrange the individual wires according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard. Press the housing shut until it clicks into place, ensuring the shield makes proper contact with the cable drain wire.
What to consider before purchase
Ensure your cable type is compatible with Cat. 6A STP specifications
Verify that the cable diameter fits the connector's internal dimensions
Confirm the wiring standard (T568A or T568B) required for your network
Usage recommendations
For the best results, ensure that the cable shield is properly folded back and in contact with the metal housing of the connector to maintain continuous grounding throughout the network link.
