It transmits data wirelessly at 433 MHz on one of eight selectable channels with a transmission interval of 60 seconds and an RF range up to 30 meters. The unit is powered by two AA (1.5 V) batteries (not included) and has a compact, lightweight housing suitable for outdoor mounting.
