The Network Device Silex DS-600 is a compact USB Device Server that makes locally connected USB devices available on a network. Using Silex Technology's USB Virtual Link, the DS-600 lets scanners, MFPs, hard disks, cameras and other USB peripherals appear to a PC as if they were connected directly by USB cable, so existing device drivers and application software can be used unchanged. The unit supports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed for faster data transfer, NAS functionality for connected storage devices, and standard TCP/IP printing protocols.
