The Silicon Power Slim S56 SSD (240 GB, 2.5" SATA III) is a solid-state drive designed as an upgrade or boot disk for desktops and notebooks. It uses a high-quality controller and SATA III 6 Gb/s interface to deliver up to 560 MB/s sequential read and 530 MB/s sequential write speeds, reducing boot time and accelerating application loading and file execution.
Advantages
The drive features SLC cache technology that temporarily writes data to SLC blocks before moving it to TLC, improving peak write performance. Internal auto-copy technology shifts data from SLC cache to TLC within the NAND to reduce controller and DRAM load. Built-in bad block management continuously monitors and replaces faulty blocks to enhance reliability and endurance. The SSD contains no moving parts, making it shock- and vibration-resistant; it also supports S.M.A.R.T. and ECC for safer data transmission. SP ToolBox software is available for download to view disk information and adjust settings.
