The SilverStone TJ04-E Midi Tower is an evolution of the Temjin TJ04 introduced in 2004. The classic exterior styling is retained while the internal layout has been redesigned to support modern PC hardware: a bottom-mounted power supply, space for multiple storage devices and long graphics cards, plus dedicated cooling and cable-management features to maintain stable operation and airflow.

The chassis increases storage capacity in a mid-tower format by accommodating up to four 5.25" drives, nine 3.5" drives and multiple 2.5" SSDs, while still allowing graphics cards up to 17 inches without removing drive cages. It uses a positive-pressure airflow design and includes removable fan filters, a built-in hard drive cooler and two custom SATA cables with built-in capacitors to improve drive stability and cable routing.
