## Long description

The SmallRig 3757B Crab-Shaped Clamp with Ballhead Magic Arm for Camera and Rig Mounting is a versatile and reliable mounting accessory designed to meet the demands of modern photographers, videographers, and content creators. Built to secure a wide range of studio gear including cameras, external monitors, LED lights, and microphones, this mounting tool combines a robust clamp base with an articulated dual ballhead magic arm. It provides a dependable foundation for complex video rigs and studio setups, ensuring your equipment stays firmly in place during shoots.
Advantages
The crab-shaped clamp features a wide clamping range and textured gripping surfaces that ensure a firm and stable attachment to various flat surfaces, tubes, and rods. The integrated dual ballhead magic arm allows for 360-degree rotation and flexible angle adjustment, enabling you to position your gear precisely where you need it. Constructed from durable materials, this mount delivers long-lasting performance under regular professional use while maintaining a compact and lightweight profile.
Suitable for
Mounting field monitors to camera cages or stabilizers
Attaching LED video lights to light stands or tabletops
Securing microphones to desk edges or rig rods during interviews
Positioning action cameras on unconventional surfaces for unique angles
When it may not be suitable
This mounting accessory is not designed to support heavy broadcast cinema cameras or large studio telephoto lenses that exceed the safe payload capacity of the ballhead mechanism. It may also not be suitable for mounting gear on extremely thin or fragile glass surfaces where high clamping pressure could cause damage.
Key specifications
Versatile crab-shaped clamp base with wide opening
Adjustable dual ballhead magic arm with central locking lever
Standard mounting screw threads for universal gear compatibility
Durable metal construction for enhanced stability
How to use
To use the SmallRig 3757B clamp and magic arm, first open the crab-shaped clamp by rotating the adjustment screw and attach it securely to a stable rod, table, or flat surface. Tighten the clamp until it is firmly locked in position. Next, attach your camera, monitor, or light to the threaded screw on the magic arm. Adjust the dual ballheads to your desired viewing or lighting angle, and then rotate the central locking lever to securely lock the entire arm in place before beginning your recording or photo session.
What to consider before purchase
Verify the weight of your equipment to ensure it is within the safe load limits of the ballhead arm
Measure the diameter of the rods or thickness of the surfaces where you plan to attach the clamp
Check the thread size compatibility of your devices with the mounting screws on the magic arm
Usage recommendations: Regularly check and tighten the locking lever and clamp screw before each use to prevent accidental shifting of equipment during mobile or active shooting conditions.
