## Long description

The SmallRig 5827 Magnetic CPL Filter for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is designed to enhance your handheld videography by improving visual clarity and reducing unwanted glare. This circular polarizing filter effectively manages reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, while significantly boosting color saturation and overall contrast for more vibrant, professional-looking footage. Utilizing a convenient magnetic mounting design, the filter allows for quick, secure attachment and removal, ensuring you never miss a shot during dynamic outdoor recording sessions.
Advantages
The magnetic design of the SmallRig 5827 filter ensures fast and effortless mounting and swapping on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 lens, minimizing downtime in the field. By cutting through glare and reflections, it produces clean, saturated colors and deep contrast that would otherwise be difficult to achieve purely in post-production. Its lightweight construction integrates seamlessly with the camera gimbal without overloading the motor mechanism, maintaining smooth movement and stability during operation.
Suitable for
Landscape videography and outdoor content creation
Shooting near water bodies, glass, or reflective surfaces
Enhancing sky contrast and foliage vibrancy
Vlogging and travel videography with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3
When it may not be suitable
This circular polarizing filter is not recommended for low-light environments, indoor shooting without bright reflections, or nighttime videography, as polarizing filters inherently reduce the amount of light entering the camera sensor. It is also exclusively designed for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and cannot be used with other camera models or different drone lenses.
Key specifications
Designed specifically for DJI Osmo Pocket 3
Circular polarizing (CPL) filter type
Magnetic mounting mechanism
Reduces non-metallic surface reflections
Enhances color saturation and contrast
How to use
Ensure the camera lens of your DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is completely clean and free of dust or fingerprints before installation. Align the filter with the front of the lens, where the magnetic system will automatically snap and secure it into the correct position. Adjust the polarization effect by rotating the filter ring if applicable, observing the live view screen to achieve the desired reduction in reflections. To remove, gently pull the filter away from the lens housing, and store it in a protective case when not in use.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your camera model is the DJI Osmo Pocket 3
Assess your typical shooting environments to ensure a CPL filter aligns with your content creation needs
Note that polarizing filters reduce light transmission, which may require adjustments to your camera exposure settings
For best results, store the filter in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use and clean the optical glass only with dedicated microfibre lens cloths to prevent scratching.
