## Long description

The SmallRig 5989 furry windscreen in black is designed specifically for the Canon PowerShot V1 camera to deliver professional wind noise reduction and enhanced audio capture during outdoor recording. This essential audio accessory effectively reduces wind noise by 14dB, ensuring clear sound for your videos and vlogs. Built with practical integration in mind, it attaches securely via a cold shoe adapter to your camera’s hot shoe, while an integrated silicone pad prevents any scratching on your equipment. Additionally, the top of the windscreen features a built-in cold shoe mount, allowing you to expand your shooting setup with compatible accessories such as external microphones and fill lights.
Advantages
This dedicated camera accessory provides a reliable solution for outdoor content creators seeking improved audio fidelity. By reducing ambient wind noise by up to 14dB, it allows for clean speech and environmental sound capture without distortion. The protective silicone pad safeguards the camera body from wear and tear during installation and removal. Furthermore, the pass-through cold shoe design maintains setup versatility, enabling users to mount supplementary gear directly above the windscreen without sacrificing expansion options.
Suitable for
Outdoor vlogging and video creation with the Canon PowerShot V1
Travel recording in windy environments
Interview and dialogue recording outdoors
Expanding setups with secondary cold shoe accessories like small lights and microphones
When it may not be suitable
This windscreen may not be required for indoor shooting environments where air movement is absent. It is exclusively compatible with the Canon PowerShot V1 and will not fit camera models with differing hot shoe placement or dimensions.
