## Long description

SOELPEC Drehknopf-Set Basalt is a set of rotary control knobs designed to replace or upgrade rotary controls on audio equipment, domestic appliances and electronic control panels. The set delivers a uniform appearance and consistent tactile feedback for manual adjustments, suitable for hobbyists, installers and technicians who require reliable, matching knobs for multiple devices. The Basalt finish provides a neutral, dark tone that integrates with professional and consumer equipment.
Advantages
The knobs offer a standard form factor intended for easy installation and consistent grip across controls. Their construction focuses on repeatable manual operation and visual coherence when used in series on control panels. The neutral Basalt color reduces visual distraction and complements a range of device finishes.
Suitable for
Replacement of worn or damaged rotary knobs on amplifiers, receivers and mixers
Upgrading control panels on DIY audio projects and custom enclosures
Use in household appliances and electronic devices that accept standard rotary knobs
Professional installations where consistent knob styling is required
When it may not be suitable
The set is intended for devices that accept standard shaft diameters and attachment methods; it may not fit proprietary or non-standard shaft types. If a device requires illuminated, marked, or detented knobs with specific mechanical features, this basic replacement set may not provide those functions.
Key specifications
Finish: Basalt (dark neutral tone)
Type: Rotary control knobs set for manual adjustment
Intended use: Audio equipment, appliances, electronic panels
Design focus: Uniform appearance and tactile grip
How to use
Remove the existing knob by pulling it straight off the control shaft or loosening any set screw if present. Align the replacement knob with the control shaft, ensuring correct orientation for any pointer indicator, and press the knob onto the shaft until it seats securely; if the knob uses a set screw, tighten it gently to secure the fit. Test rotation and stops to confirm proper fit and alignment before regular use.
What to consider before purchase
Confirm the shaft diameter and type on your equipment to ensure compatibility
Check whether a set screw or push-fit attachment is required for your control shafts
Verify that the Basalt color and shape match your aesthetic and ergonomic needs
Usage recommendations
For best results, measure the shaft diameter and inspect attachment type before ordering. When installing multiple knobs, fit them all before powering the device to confirm uniform alignment and operation.
