Solis ECO Vacuum Rolls are compostable vacuum-sealing films designed for home and professional food storage. The transparent roll measures 30 x 600 cm and is compatible with Solis vacuum sealers. Made from food-safe, BPA-free biodegradable materials, the film preserves flavours and extends the shelf life of foods when vacuum-packed.
Advantages
The compostable vacuum film biodegrades in industrial composting facilities according to EN13432 while maintaining the same high film quality. Vacuum-packing with these rolls keeps food fresh for up to eight times longer and prevents foods from absorbing unwanted odours by locking in aromas. The double-layered, 160 μm thick material is durable, resists punctures and tearing, and is suitable for reuse after thorough cleaning. The roll format lets you cut and seal custom-sized bags to limit material use.

How to use
Cut the roll to the desired length, seal one end to form a bag, insert the food and place the open end in the vacuum sealer. Channels on both sides of the film allow complete air extraction. After vacuuming and sealing, store the bag as required: refrigerate, freeze, or use for sous-vide, microwave or boiling water within the specified temperature and time limits.
Usage recommendations
Use only according to the stated temperature limits: sous-vide \< 90 ºC, microwave \< 100 ºC and boiling water up to 4 hours. Rinse and dry bags thoroughly if reusing, and dispose of used film in appropriate industrial composting streams where EN13432-compliant compostable plastics are accepted.
