The Sonel MRP-201 (WMPLMRP201) is a portable residual current protection tester designed for on-site verification of all types of residual-current devices (RCDs) including type AC, A and B, as well as no-delay, short-delay and selective RCDs. It measures trip current and trip time as a function of differential current, protective conductor resistance and touch voltage. Measurements can be performed individually or in automatic series modes, and the instrument can record simultaneous current and time during a single RCD actuation. The tester stores measurement results and communicates with a PC via a radio interface for protocol generation and data analysis.
Advantages
The device supports measurements for rated residual currents of 10, 30, 100, 300 and 500 mA and provides measurement of trip current (IA), trip time (tA) at multiple multiples of IΔn (0.5, 1, 2, 5) and simultaneous IA/tA capture.
