## Long description

The SSQ SS-1816 Cable Jack Stereo 3.5 mm to 2x XLR Male 1 m Black is a professional-grade audio cable designed to connect portable audio sources, computers, or media players to professional audio equipment such as mixing consoles, amplifiers, and active speakers. Featuring a 1-meter length, this black audio cable ensures dependable signal transmission and maintains signal integrity across various sound setups. It bridges consumer electronics with professional audio gear effectively.
Advantages
This audio cable offers reliable signal transmission, minimizing interference and signal loss during audio playback and recording. The robust connectors ensure a secure physical connection to prevent accidental disconnections during operation. The flexible yet durable outer jacket protects the internal conductors from mechanical wear, making it suitable for regular setup and teardown. Its balanced dual XLR layout allows for seamless conversion from an unbalanced stereo 3.5 mm output to dual mono balanced inputs.
Suitable for
Connecting smartphones, laptops, or tablets to mixing consoles
Routing audio from media players to studio monitors or amplifiers
Live sound reinforcement setups requiring stereo-to-dual-XLR conversion
Home recording studio applications and podcasting equipment hookups
When it may not be suitable
This cable is not designed for long-distance cable runs, as a 1-meter length limits placement flexibility between distant audio devices. Additionally, it may not be appropriate for connecting balanced professional sources directly to standard consumer auxiliary inputs without proper signal level adjustments.
Key specifications
Connector type A: 3.5 mm stereo jack male
Connector type B: 2x XLR male
Cable length: 1 meter
Color: Black
Application: Audio signal transmission
How to use
Insert the 3.5 mm stereo jack plug into the audio output port of your source device, such as a computer, media player, or smartphone. Connect the two XLR male plugs to the corresponding left and right audio input channels on your mixing console, amplifier, or active speaker system. Ensure that all connections are fully inserted and secure before starting audio playback. Adjust the volume levels gradually on your source device and mixer to prevent sudden loud peaks or equipment damage.
What to consider before purchase
Verify the correct connector types required for your specific audio equipment
Check the required cable length to ensure the 1-meter reach is sufficient for your setup
Confirm whether your equipment requires balanced or unbalanced audio signal routing
Usage recommendations: Store the cable in a loose, coiled position when not in use to prevent internal conductor stress and sharp kinks. Avoid placing heavy objects on the cable or running it across high-traffic floor areas without protective cable covers.
