## Long description

Staedtler Mars Plastic model 526-50 is a polymer eraser designed to remove graphite and colored pencil marks with precision and minimal paper abrasion. The compact rectangular shape and soft, non-gritty material make it suitable for clean corrections in writing, drawing, technical sketching and schoolwork. Its crumb-free formulation helps reduce smearing and leaves paper surface intact for subsequent work.
Advantages
The eraser delivers precise, residue-minimizing performance on graphite and colored pencil media. Its soft polymer composition erases efficiently without tearing or whitening the paper, while the compact rectangular form enables targeted corrections and edge control. The material produces minimal crumbs and smudging, simplifying cleanup and preserving the quality of drawings and notes.
Suitable for
Erasing graphite pencil lines in sketches and technical drawings
Correcting colored pencil work in illustrations and school projects
Clean-up of written notes and homework
Fine, localized corrections where paper preservation is important
Key specifications
Material: soft polymer eraser compound
Shape: compact rectangular block for precision erasing
Performance: low-smudge, crumb-reduced formulation
Suitable media: graphite and colored pencils
Typical uses: drawing, technical sketches, school and office corrections
How to use
Hold the eraser firmly and use the flat face for broad corrections or the corner for detailed work. Apply gentle, even pressure and move the eraser in one direction to lift pencil marks cleanly without damaging the paper. Replace or rotate the eraser face as it wears to maintain a fresh surface for optimal performance.
Usage recommendations
For best results, test the eraser on a small, inconspicuous area of the paper to confirm compatibility. Use light strokes on thin or delicate papers to avoid surface abrasion, and brush away crumbs with a soft brush or fingertip rather than rubbing, to prevent re-smudging.
