## Long description

The Stanley Fatmax wall anchor with a hook is a professional-grade fastening solution engineered for high-performance anchoring in solid building materials. Measuring 12 x 45 mm, this hardware component is specifically designed to provide a secure and stable connection in dense substrates such as concrete and solid masonry. Each set includes two high-quality anchors, ensuring that users have the necessary components for reliable mounting tasks in both residential and commercial environments.
Advantages
These anchors are characterized by their robust construction and superior holding power, which are hallmarks of the Stanley Fatmax range. The design ensures optimal expansion within the drill hole, minimizing the risk of rotation or pull-out under load. By utilizing these anchors, users benefit from a durable fastening system that maintains structural integrity over time, even when subjected to the demands of heavy-duty mounting applications.
Suitable for
Mounting fixtures in concrete walls
Securing items to solid masonry surfaces
Professional construction projects
Home improvement and renovation tasks
When it may not be suitable
This product is not intended for use in hollow materials such as drywall, plasterboard, or aerated concrete blocks, as it requires a solid substrate to achieve proper expansion and grip. It is also not suitable for overhead applications where high-tensile safety ratings are required.
Key specifications
Anchor diameter: 12 mm
Anchor length: 45 mm
Material compatibility: Concrete and solid masonry
Quantity: 2 pieces per pack
Design: Anchor with integrated hook
How to use
To install the anchor, first drill a hole into the solid material using a masonry drill bit that matches the diameter of the anchor. Ensure the hole is cleaned of dust and debris to allow for maximum expansion. Insert the anchor into the hole and tap it gently until it is flush with the surface. Once positioned, tighten the hook component to expand the anchor body, creating a firm and secure hold within the wall.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the wall material is solid concrete or masonry
Ensure the drill bit size matches the anchor diameter
Check the weight of the item to be mounted against the anchor capacity
Usage recommendations
Always wear appropriate safety gear, such as eye protection, when drilling into masonry. Ensure the drill hole depth is slightly greater than the length of the anchor to allow for full insertion.
