Equipped with an FTDI chipset, the adapter provides null modem (DCE-to-DCE) support so you can resolve DCE/DTE conflicts without additional cross-wired cables or adapters. The 2-meter cable includes removable slotted D-Sub thumbscrews and a set of DB-9 nuts for secure attachment to serial devices and compatibility with a variety of peripheral cables.
