The StarTech.com 25SATSAS35 converter lets you install a 2.5" SATA or SAS hard drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD) into a standard 3.5" SATA bay. Constructed from durable lightweight plastic with ventilation openings, the converter provides standard 3.5" mounting points on the sides and bottom and supports drives up to 15 mm height. It is compatible with SATA III controllers to enable transfer speeds up to 6 Gbps when paired with compatible hardware.

This trayless adapter supports up to 15 mm-high 2.5" SATA or SAS drives and uses standard 3.5" mounting holes including three side mounting points for compatibility with some OEM systems.
