The StarTech.com 4-Port USB-A Hub adds four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) downstream ports to a computer with a USB-A host port. The compact, bus-powered hub includes a built-in 1 ft (30 cm) USB-A host cable and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 (480Mbps) devices. A USB Type-C auxiliary power input accepts up to 15W (5V/3A) from a separate USB-C power adapter (sold separately) to supplement bus power when connecting higher-power peripherals. Downstream ports provide overcurrent protection and each can deliver up to 7.5W to connected devices.
