Designed for SWDM (Shortwave Wavelength Division Multiplexing) across an extended wavelength range (850–953 nm VCSEL), this OM5 cable improves performance capacity over OM4 while remaining backward compatible with OM4 and OM3 systems. The cable features LC to LC UPC polished connectors and a laser-optimized multimode fiber core suitable for VCSEL and LED light sources.
