The StarTech.com Expansion Card 2-Port USB PCIe (PEXUSB312A3) installs into an available PCIe x4 slot and adds two USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Type-A ports to a desktop computer. The black, low-profile/full-profile compatible card uses an ASMedia ASM3142 controller and supports PCIe 3.0 x2 lanes, enabling high-speed connections for external drives, SSDs and other USB devices.

This PCIe USB 3.2 Gen 2 controller provides two SuperSpeed USB-A ports with up to 10 Gbps per port and backward compatibility with USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) and USB 2.0.
