StarTech.com 3m LC to LC OS2 9/125µm Single Mode Duplex Fiber Optic Cable supports high-speed 100G networks and is engineered for CWDM applications over OS2 fiber. The 3 m patch cable uses a 9/125µm bend-insensitive core optimized for 1260–1625 nm wavelengths and is compatible with laser-optimized sources. It is backward compatible with OS1 networks and intended for connections between servers, switches and other data center equipment.
Advantages
Precision ceramic ferrules and UPC-polished LC connectors provide low insertion loss (below 0.3 dB) and improved return loss versus older PC polishing methods. The bend-insensitive fiber construction and a low-refractive-index cladding layer reduce light leakage and maintain signal integrity over long distances.
