The StarTech Dual Port 10G PCIe network adapter with Intel X550-AT chipset adds two 10GBASE-T / NBASE-T RJ45 ports to a server or workstation using a single PCI Express slot. The card supports five network speeds (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100Mbps) and delivers up to 10,000 Mbit/s transfer rates where cabling and network equipment permit. Designed for environments that require increased LAN bandwidth, low latency and reliable wired connectivity, the adapter supports multi-gigabit operation over existing Cat5e installations as well as 10G operation over Cat6a.
