Supporting structured cabling systems in commercial buildings
Small to medium business local area network setups
When it may not be suitable

CAT6 performance category
UTP unshielded twisted pair architecture
24 available ports
How to use
Mount the patch panel securely into a standard 19-inch network cabinet or server rack using appropriate mounting screws. Route the incoming network cables from the walls or equipment to the rear of the panel. Terminate the individual cable conductors onto the IDC blocks using a compatible punch-down tool, following the specified wiring standard. Connect patch cables from the front ports to network switches or routers to complete the circuit.
What to consider before purchase
Ensure your rack or cabinet has available 19-inch mounting space and adequate depth
Verify that your network infrastructure utilizes UTP CAT6 cabling
Check the total number of network connections required to determine if 24 ports are sufficient
Ensure proper cable dressing and support at the rear of the patch panel to prevent strain on the termination points during daily network operation.
