## Long description

Talens Extra Fine Quality Gouache Tube Scarlet 334 is a professional-grade artists' water-based paint designed for fine art, illustration, and graphic design projects. It delivers vibrant color intensity, excellent opacity, and a smooth matte finish when dry, making it a reliable choice for creators seeking consistent performance and rich coverage.
Advantages
This professional-grade gouache paint provides exceptional color brilliance and high pigment concentration, ensuring vivid and striking results across various creative surfaces. The smooth formulation allows for effortless blending and precise application, enabling artists to achieve fine details as well as solid color blocks. When dry, the paint leaves a uniform matte finish that is free from unwanted gloss, which is particularly beneficial for professional illustration and graphic design work. Supplied in a practical tube format, it allows for easy dispensing, minimal waste, and optimal preservation of the paint between creative sessions.
Suitable for
Fine art paintings and creative illustrations
Graphic design projects and commercial art
Creating solid matte color backgrounds
Detailed artistic work requiring high opacity
When it may not be suitable
This water-based gouache is not designed for exterior applications where permanent exposure to moisture, rain, or direct weathering is expected, as the dried paint film remains soluble in water. It is also not intended for specialized fabric painting or heavy-duty industrial finishing surfaces.
Key specifications
Professional-grade artists' water-based gouache paint
Color: Scarlet 334
High pigment concentration with vibrant color intensity
Excellent opacity and coverage
Smooth matte finish upon drying
Convenient and secure tube packaging format
How to use
Dispense the desired amount of scarlet gouache from the tube onto a clean palette. The paint can be used directly from the tube for maximum opacity or diluted with small amounts of water to achieve smoother washes and fluid transitions. Apply the paint using appropriate brushes onto paper, illustration board, or other suitable drawing surfaces. Allow adequate drying time to reveal the characteristic smooth matte finish. Clean all brushes and tools thoroughly with water immediately after use.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the scarlet shade and matte finish suit your current artistic project requirements
Ensure compatibility with your preferred drawing or painting surfaces
Remember that dried gouache remains water-soluble and requires protection from moisture
For best results, store the gouache tube tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and reactivate dried paint on the palette with a damp brush when needed.
