Advantages
This shower channel stands out due to its robust construction and reliable performance in demanding bathroom environments. The inclusion of a wall upstand simplifies the waterproofing process, creating a dependable barrier that maintains the integrity of the shower installation. Its design facilitates efficient water flow, ensuring that the shower area remains dry and safe. Suitable for
Floor-level tiled shower installations
Modern bathroom renovations
Residential and commercial shower areas
Projects requiring high-standard waterproofing
When it may not be suitable
This product is specifically designed for installation against a wall. It may not be suitable for central shower placements or island-style shower configurations where a wall upstand is not required. Additionally, it is intended for use with tiled floors and may not be compatible with prefabricated shower trays or specific non-tiled flooring materials.
Key specifications
Length: 800 mm
Integrated wall upstand for enhanced sealing
Designed for floor-level installation
Compatible with tiled shower surfaces
Durable construction for long-term reliability
How to use
Installation should be performed by a qualified professional to ensure proper alignment and waterproofing. The channel is positioned against the wall, and the upstand is integrated into the wall sealing system using appropriate waterproofing membranes or tapes. The floor tiles are then laid up to the edge of the channel, ensuring a slight slope toward the drain to facilitate optimal water runoff. Regular maintenance involves removing the cover and cleaning the internal channel to prevent debris buildup.
What to consider before purchase
Verify the required length for your specific shower enclosure
Ensure compatibility with your chosen waterproofing system
Confirm that the installation depth is suitable for your floor construction
Check that the drainage capacity meets your shower head flow rate
Usage recommendations
For optimal performance and longevity, ensure that the waterproofing membrane is correctly applied to the wall upstand. Regular cleaning of the drain channel is recommended to maintain hygiene and prevent blockages.
