The cable uses U/UTP (UTP) construction with four twisted pairs of 26AWG CCA (copper‑coated aluminium) conductors and a PVC jacket in yellow for easy visual identification. Both RJ‑45 male connectors have gold‑plated contacts to reduce oxidation.
