IDATA HDMI-EA extracts the audio signal from an HDMI source and converts it to analog RCA (R/L) and optical SPDIF outputs while passing the HDMI video signal through to a display. The device supports loop-through video output so you can connect a TV, projector or monitor and at the same time send audio to external speakers or an AV receiver. It accepts standard HDMI input and provides stereo RCA and Toslink or multichannel SPDIF audio depending on the selected mode.
