The Telegärtner VM 8-8 module (accessory model J00060A0071) is designed to connect and extend shielded and unshielded twisted-pair installation cables (Cat.5e/Cat.6/Cat.6A/Cat.7/Cat.7A) at transition or consolidation points, for cable extensions, repairs of damaged cables and cable rerouting. For Cat.7A applications the accessory is compatible with standard installation and patch cords and is intended to minimize re-routing by allowing permanent interconnection of multiple cable segments without significant loss of transmission performance.
Advantages
The module uses LSA Plus terminals on a common PCB and supports EIA/TIA 568A and 568B colour coding, enabling connection of 4-pair shielded or unshielded cables from AWG 27–22. Pairs can be routed to the terminal without untwisting, while screw-on terminals on the PCB provide secure shielded contact. The design allows variable cable feed directions, tool-free installation of the stainless-steel shielding cover on rack and wall-mount versions, and offers bonding connection directly on the PCB (M4 screw).
