tesa® 4590 is a unidirectional filament tape with glass filaments laminated to a polyester film. Designed for industrial bundling, palletizing and fixing tasks, the tape provides high longitudinal tensile strength with very low elongation. A synthetic rubber adhesive ensures secure bonding to a wide range of substrates, including non-polar surfaces such as PE and PP. The tape is tear-resistant, shows excellent adhesion to corrugated and solid board, and has high initial tack with a short time to reach final adhesive strength.
