tesa® Mounting Tape for Tiles & Metal (5 m x 19 mm) is a double-sided adhesive tape designed for permanent mounting of mirrors and other thin objects up to 4 mm thick on smooth, solid indoor surfaces such as tiles, metal and many plastics. It is suitable for damp rooms like bathrooms and kitchens and compensates for minor surface irregularities, providing a durable, reliable hold without the need for drilling or special tools.

How to use
Clean both the surface and the back of the object with a silicone-free alcohol or window cleaner to remove dust and grease, then allow them to dry. If one surface is rougher than the other, apply the tape to the rougher surface. Apply vertical strips of tape along the full height of the object and reinforce the top area with shorter strips. Press the tape firmly over its entire surface for at least five seconds. Remove the protective liner without touching the exposed adhesive, position the object, and press firmly again for at least five seconds to ensure good contact.
Usage recommendations
Designed for permanent applications — removal may damage the surface and leave residue. If removal is necessary, cut the foam core with a cutting wire and tear off remaining material carefully. Not suitable for non-stick materials. For mounting on glass, wood, wallpaper, plaster and other substrates, consult tesa® product selection for alternative solutions.
