Measured values are transmitted to the base station and shown on a colour display with an animated wind graphic; historical data is stored for up to one year. An integrated electronic barometer measures air pressure and provides a short weather forecast based on pressure changes. Time and date are received via the DCF‑77 radio signal. The unit is powered by AAA batteries; the display can be kept permanently lit when connected to an external power supply.
