## Long description

The Thermal Grizzly TG-CF-I13G CPU Contact Frame is a mounting aid for Intel LGA1700 motherboards, compatible with 12th, 13th and 14th generation Intel processors. Developed in collaboration with Roman "der8auer" Hartung and manufactured in Germany, the aluminium frame reworks the contact pressure distribution during cooler installation to improve contact between the CPU heatspreader and cooler base. The frame is anodised black and supports CPUs whose Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) has been ground by no more than 0.2 mm.
Advantages
The contact frame reduces concave deformation of the IHS by shifting contact pressure from the centre toward the edges, which increases the effective contact surface between CPU and cooler. It is simple to assemble without the need for a specific torque setting, is compatible with a wide range of LGA1700 coolers and CPUs, and is made from anodised aluminium for durability.
