## Long description

Thermal Grizzly TG Putty is an electrically non-conductive, flexible gap filler developed as an alternative to conventional thermal pads for GPU modifications and for replacing thermal pads between the PCB and the cooler. Supplied in a 30 g container, TG Putty compensates for height differences and is intended for use where thermal pads of varying thickness would normally be applied.
Advantages
TG Putty is easy to apply and can be shaped to fit small or irregular surfaces. It is electrically non-conductive and available in three variants with different thermal conductivities: Basic (medium), Advance (good) and Pro (excellent). The putty fills gaps from 0.2 mm up to 3.0 mm and can be applied with the included spatulas or by hand (use of gloves is recommended).

How to use
Thoroughly clean and degrease the target surface before application (for example, with isopropanol or cleaning wipes). Apply TG Putty with the included spatulas for broad coverage or shape small pellets by hand to match the size of individual components such as VRAM chips or SMDs; gloves are recommended when handling by hand. Place the cooler or backplate and compress the putty so it fills the gap evenly.
Usage recommendations
TG Putty must not be used on processors (IHS or direct-die) or directly on the GPU die. For a smaller single graphics card without an active backplate (e.g., GeForce GTX 1060) one 30 g container is typically sufficient. For large cards (for example GeForce RTX 4090) one 30 g container is usually enough for the front-side VRAM and VRM; filling a larger uniform gap on the backside may require two 30 g containers. Clean surfaces before application.
