## Long description

Tytan Butapren 0.8 L is a solvent-based elastic adhesive sealant formulated for bonding and sealing joints, overlaps and seams in construction and repair tasks. Supplied in a 0.8-litre cartridge, this product provides flexible adhesion to a variety of common building materials and creates a water-resistant joint that accommodates movement. The sealant is suitable for both interior and exterior applications where an elastic, solvent-based compound is required for durable sealing and bonding.
Advantages
The sealant combines solvent-based chemistry with elastic properties to deliver good initial tack and flexibility after curing. It bonds to many porous and non-porous substrates, resists minor mechanical stresses, and fills irregular gaps while maintaining a watertight finish. The cartridge format allows for controlled application and reduces material waste.
Suitable for
Sealing joints and seams in building envelopes
Bonding trims, flashing and overlapping materials
Window and door installation sealing work
Repairing and filling gaps in interior and exterior surfaces
Key specifications
 Form: Solvent-based elastic sealant in a 0.8 L cartridge
Application: Bonding and sealing of joints, overlaps and seams
Compatibility: Adheres to common building materials including many plastics, metals, wood and masonry
Durability: Flexible after curing to accommodate joint movement
Use environment: Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications
How to use
Prepare surfaces by ensuring they are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose particles. Cut the cartridge tip to the desired bead size and use an appropriate applicator gun for controlled dispensing. Apply the sealant evenly into the joint or gap, ensuring full contact with substrate edges. Tool the surface as required to achieve the desired finish and remove excess material before it skins over. Allow the product to cure according to ambient conditions and ventilation; curing time will depend on temperature and humidity.
Usage recommendations
Use appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure adequate ventilation during application due to solvent content. Avoid applying to frozen, wet or contaminated substrates. Test adhesion on unfamiliar materials prior to full application and follow local regulations for disposal of solvent-based materials.
