How to use
Install the ETH-SP inline on the Ethernet cable feeding the outdoor device: connect the cable from the network switch or PoE injector to one RJ45 port and the cable to the outdoor device to the other RJ45 port. For best protection, mount one ETH-SP near the customer premises equipment (CPE) and, where required, a second unit at the building entry point so surges and ESD are diverted to ground before reaching sensitive electronics. No power or configuration is required for the passive unit.
