The UGREEN 30848 Black 2.5" HDD/SSD enclosure converts a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD into a portable USB external drive. It supports one 2.5" drive (SATA I/II/III) and connects to a host via USB 3.0 (5 Gbit/s), offering compatibility with laptops, desktops, game consoles, media players and other devices that accept USB-A storage devices.

Connect the enclosure to a host using the supplied Micro USB 3.0 cable (USB-A to Micro-B). The device is plug-and-play on modern operating systems; ensure the host recognizes the drive and perform any required formatting if the drive is new or not yet initialized.
Usage recommendations
For UASP acceleration, verify that the host system, operating system and USB controller support and have UASP enabled. Always safely eject the drive before unplugging. For 7 mm drives add the provided additional EVA pad if necessary. Note that Windows XP 32-bit has limitations and does not support HDDs above 2 TB.
