The UNITEK SolidForce Reefer is an M.2 SSD enclosure that supports one M.2 drive (PCIe/NVMe and SATA/AHCI) in sizes 2242, 2260 and 2280, and accommodates modules with a heatsink up to 12.5 mm height. The grey aluminium housing with fins and a hollowed internal layout improves heat dissipation while the USB Type-C interface delivers USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed transfers up to 10 Gbit/s, backward compatible with earlier USB generations.
Advantages
The enclosure supports both NVMe (M-key) and SATA (B+M-key) M.2 drives and uses UASP and TRIM to improve throughput and drive efficiency.
