It uses shielded twisted pairs (PiMF) and RJ-45 connectors on both ends with 1:1 contact wiring according to EIA/TIA 568. The cable construction includes 8 conductors with aluminium-foil pair shielding and full braided shielding, and an impedance of 100 Ohm. The moulded kink protection and flexible sheath make the cable suitable for narrow bends and durable everyday use.
