The cable is designed for use as a patch lead in wiring cabinets or as a direct connection between devices; its flexible construction allows narrow bending while maintaining a 1:1 contact assignment according to EIA/TIA 568 with eight stranded copper conductors and a braided shield. The jacket is LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), reducing smoke and halogen emission when exposed to heat. The cable and connector combination has been tested in our laboratory as part of a 100 m channel and meets Class E specifications.
