## Summary description

Varta Murrist MVM150S is an aluminum ventilation grille in white finish with integrated insect mesh and predrilled screw holes. Sized 150x150 mm, it provides air exchange while preventing insects from entering and allows easy surface mounting. Suitable for residential or light commercial ventilation openings and duct covers.

## Long description

Varta Murrist MVM150S is an aluminum ventilation grille in white finish designed for surface mounting. Measuring 150x150 mm, the grille includes an integrated insect mesh and predrilled screw holes for straightforward installation. It is intended for residential and light commercial ventilation openings or duct covers where a compact, durable air inlet/outlet is required.
Advantages
The aluminum construction offers corrosion resistance and low maintenance compared with untreated metals. The white finish provides a neutral appearance that blends with most interior and exterior surfaces. An integrated insect mesh reduces the risk of pests entering the ventilation system while maintaining airflow. Predrilled screw holes simplify installation, allowing secure surface attachment without additional drilling.
Suitable for
Small ventilation ducts and wall openings in homes and apartments
Bathroom or kitchen exhaust terminations where insect protection is needed
Vent covers for light commercial premises, utility rooms, and HVAC service access panels
Retrofit projects where a compact 150x150 mm grille is required
When it may not be suitable
This grille is sized for smaller openings (150x150 mm) and may not be appropriate for larger ductwork or systems that require higher airflow capacity. It is a fixed grille intended for surface mounting; it does not include adjustable louvers or dampers for airflow control.
Key specifications
 Material: aluminum
 Finish: white
 Integrated insect mesh: yes
Mounting: surface mount with predrilled screw holes
 External dimensions: 150 x 150 mm
How to use
Position the grille over the ventilation opening, align the predrilled screw holes, and mark the fixing points. Use appropriate screws and wall plugs for the substrate (e.g., masonry, wood, drywall) and secure the grille to the surface. Ensure the insect mesh is clean and unobstructed to maintain airflow. For ventilation systems, verify that the grille covers the duct opening fully and does not restrict the designed airflow; remove any packing or protective film before final installation.
What to consider before purchase
Confirm that a 150 x 150 mm external grille fits your opening and that internal duct dimensions are compatible
Check whether a white finish matches the installation surface or if painting is required
Ensure aluminum construction meets any local regulations or fire-safety requirements for your application
Decide if a fixed grille with insect mesh meets your needs versus adjustable or insulated alternatives
Usage recommendations
For reliable performance, inspect the insect mesh periodically and clean with a soft brush or damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Use corrosion-resistant screws for exterior applications and avoid aggressive chemical cleaners that could affect the finish.
