The Verbatim Store 'n' Save USB 3.0 desktop hard drive provides 2TB of external storage with a USB 3.0 "SuperSpeed" interface for faster data transfer compared with USB 2.0. The drive can be positioned flat or upright to save desk space and includes a Verbatim welcome screen that gives shortcuts to bundled software, user manuals and support information (availability depends on the PC operating system).
Advantages
USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and supports significantly higher transfer speeds. Drives up to 2TB are pre-formatted in FAT32 for immediate use on Windows and Mac OS X. The drive ships with Nero Backup software for scheduled, compressed and encrypted backups and includes Verbatim Green Button energy saving software that suspends drive spin-down to reduce power consumption. Three sleep settings let you choose automatic suspend after a selectable period, immediate suspend via the desktop icon, or never suspend.
